open-air sculpture exhibition
Over the past several years, I have been developing a private body of work with an emphasis on scale, structural integrity, and long-term installation. In June 2026, I will present my first public open-air sculpture exhibition in Portland.
I welcome conversations with collectors, architects, designers, and public art professionals interested in site-responsive or permanent sculptural work.
If you would like to request an early viewing or inquire about acquisition, please contact me through the form to the right.
I am a Portland Oregon-based artist with a focus on large-scale work. In my own life journey, I have found a form of healing in the curves and contours of sculpture - a poetry of self in physical form. Through the medium of clay, I explore the intricacy of emotions that go hand-in-hand with being human and that often feel indescribable through words.
“Things are never as easily grasped and expressed as people assume. Most experiences are unsayable; they become real to us in a space no word has entered.” Rilke
Art can contain these “unsayable experiences” that Rilke describes – through the conscious and subconscious intentions of the artist as well as the many perspectives and interpretations in the eye of the beholder. And in this space of no words, we connect – with others and with something bigger than us.
Years ago, while visiting Santa Fe, I came face to face with a bronze sculpture that changed my life. For whatever reason, this sculpture at that time in my life opened a desire and a pathway within me to put hands in clay, turn to art, and drastically change my life on every level. As we move through the difficult times we find ourselves in, I hold to a deep knowing that art can shift hearts and minds. It is not for me to question how and within whom. It is only my job to create.
